Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Virginia medical license required
• DEA required
• Minimum 2-3 years of OB/GYN experience required; 5+ years preferred
• Experience managing OB/GYN core cases and minor gynecologic surgical procedures
• Ability to provide in-house call coverage and manage residents
• Preferred certifications: EFM, NRP, and PALS
• Must be comfortable working in a busy women’s health environment with ongoing OB and GYN volume

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage for labor and delivery and unassigned hospital call
• Support a practice that averages 70-75 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month
• Deliver timely, high-quality patient care across clinic and hospital settings
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and a certified nurse midwife
• Supervise and manage residents as part of daily clinical operations
• Perform core OB/GYN care and minor gynecologic surgical procedures
• Provide coverage for 24-hour in-house call shifts as scheduled
