We are relentlessly focused on improving the membership experience to delight customers around the globe. Prime UX researchers and designers work with global Product, Marketing, Branding, Data Science, and Tech team partners, to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon worldwide (WW). The Benefits, Pricing and Constructs (BPC) team within WW Prime UX, owns the strategy and product design for Prime’s benefit portfolio, membership constructs, pricing and brand architecture. We work with benefit partners to create and communicate the value of the Prime membership. To accomplish that, we are seeking a Sr. UX Designer to join our growing team and help define and improve the end-to-end Prime CX for projects that help define the membership value, such as AI driven initiatives, conversational AI assistants, Family sharing services that improve household needs, and more. You have a strong capability to collaborate closely with other UX designers, product management, engineering, scientists, and operational teams as you go from early-stage product concepts to launches of new features and experiences. You have a solid understanding of dynamic interfaces and conversation design fundamentals. You approach your craft with an AI-native mindset, actively integrating AI tools and capabilities into your research, ideation, and delivery process to move faster and raise the quality of your output. You think first from the customer's perspective, use research and data to influence your designs, set relentlessly high standards for yourself, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract, break down complex use cases, and drive the vision into solid design deliverables.Key job responsibilities- Design the CX/UX of multiple products or a single complex product; includes owning end-to-end UX from strategy to tactical execution, to UX sign-off. - Leverage AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, design exploration, and iteration - Continuously adopt emerging AI capabilities into your design workflow to increase speed and quality of output - Advocate and design for the customer using objective data such as market analysis and customer insights. - Facilitate collaboration across a diverse set of global Prime business stakeholders. - Partner with product and business teams to plan and balance immediate requirements with long-term, scalable solutions. - Define and improve design best practices and help drive their adoption. - Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features with validation techniques including usability testing, - Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders. - Proactively manage your own work queue, time, and expectations; meet deadlines and communicate needs and tradeoffs if your schedule is in jeopardyBasic qualifications- 7+ years of design experience- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar- Knowledge of usability principles and techniquesPreferred qualification - Experience with UX design of complex workflows- Experience with AI/ML technologies- Experience owning end-to-end programs to drive results- Experience with variety of digital media workflows- Experience with voice interface, natural language or multimodal design- Experience in delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designerAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
