Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day and night shifts available with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios

Highlights:

• Work in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit within a 16-bed department serving as a regional referral center
• Gain experience with high-risk obstetrics, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and immediate newborn care
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Fetal Link, Baxter pumps, and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment
• Join a collaborative team of 120 staff members including charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and RNs
• Float opportunities to related units including MFMU, MOMB, and NICU for professional development
• Facility recognized for Magnet designation, top clinical quality rankings, and patient safety excellence

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk obstetrics experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Circulating experience strongly preferred
