Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Perform clinical assessments, monitor patient status, and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in infant-driven feeding practices in accordance with unit protocols
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality neonatal outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Virginia RN license (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current NRP certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification (may be pending at time of submission)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
