Solution Architect, Forward Deployed Architecture (AI Capability Center) - 2 Openings

Job Summary This role works alongside a Huron business team. The individual turns the business problem into designs engineers can build, owns the design end‑to‑end, builds the hard parts with engineers, and serves as the main link between the business and the pod. Key Responsibilities Frame the problem: Run early conversations with the business to identify worthwhile problems. Own the design: Produce and maintain the solution design as work evolves. Translate between business and engineering: Ensure business needs and engineering outputs are aligned. Set measures: Agree on success definitions and measurements with the Engagement Manager and engineers before the build starts. Build the hard parts: Work alongside engineers on build components the design depends on. Bring domain depth: Keep the design relevant for the industry served. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of RAG, agents, and evaluation to design them. Experience with process mapping and service design. Domain depth in healthcare or higher education. Certifications: AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CBAP (BABOK), or Claude Certified Architect – Foundations. Comfortable in fast‑paced, changing environments with shifting priorities and unclear problems. General Required Skills 5 to 8 years in solution architecture, technical or experience design, or applied‑AI advisory, including 1 to 2 years leading. Ability to translate unclear problems into designs engineers can build. Strong writing and facilitation skills, credible with executives. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Based onshore (US or Canada) for the healthcare work, with travel required as needed. Compensation The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 – $170,000 USD. Including annual incentive compensation, the total estimated compensation range is $166,750 – $218,750 USD.
