Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Michigan license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred.

Unit Details:
General nursing care for primarily geriatric patients, including CHF, COPD, and diabetes.
Uses CareScape patient monitors and Pyxis.
Patient ratios: 1:4–1:5 days and 1:6 nights.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every weekend.
Every other holiday.
Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours. xhyhwjd

Floating Requirements:
Float to ED within competency required.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
