Moscow, ID 83843, USA Description Job Summary: Gritman Medical Center is seeking compassionate Staff Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Surgical and Critical Care units. The Staff RN provides direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the RN develops and executes individualized care plans for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include patient and family education, mentoring students and novice nurses, and adherence to professional nursing standards and regulatory guidelines. This role requires proficiency in the nursing process, commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment and Care Planning Patient Care and Monitoring Collaboration and Communication Professional Development and Mentoring Regulatory Compliance and Safety Ethical and Professional Conduct Qualifications: Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. Required Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or a compact state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtain within 12 months of hire). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or obtain within 12 months of hire). Ability to perform patient transfers and provide physical support. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
