Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief

We are seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief with strong understanding of residential and commercial building and restoration processes. This role is ideal for a technically skilled restoration professional who understands drying science, leads from the front, and holds teams accountable for quality and compliance.

Physical demands and working conditions include moving up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Must be able to wear respirator and safety gear when job conditions warrant.

Key responsibilities include leading water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects; directing daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors; performing and verifying moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations; determining appropriate drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management; setting up, monitoring, and adjusting drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment; conducting quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company SOPs; and documenting moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software.

Required qualifications include demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, and availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.
