Nuclear Medicine Tech

The position is for a Nuclear Medicine Technician. The technician will work hours from 06:30 to 17:00. The schedule consists of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. First-time travelers are accepted. Floating to other facilities may be required based on need. The clinician must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours are 40 hours in one workweek. Required certifications include BLS, CNMT, or NMTCB. The technician will work primarily with adults and geriatrics patients. Experience in a community hospital setting is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable with various nuclear medicine procedures. Skills in drawing venous blood and starting and maintaining IVs are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in handling and disposing of radioactive materials. Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Essential skills include expertise in conducting a range of imaging and scanning procedures.
