Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician

Location: Acton, MA 01720
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $24/hour on W2
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Work Arrangement: On-site

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Associate Manufacturing Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment used in medical device production. The role involves equipment setup, preventive maintenance, quality inspections, and resolving machine faults to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, inspect, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine faults, clear stoppages, and support corrective actions.
• Use HMIs and measurement tools to monitor processes and verify product specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor raw materials, maintain inventory records, and ensure product quality.
• Support process development, equipment validation, and new product transfers.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and cleanroom procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated equipment, robotics, or discrete assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with HMIs, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Medical device manufacturing and cleanroom experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and manufacturing quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
