Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients, administering medications and monitoring responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to patient flow and safety.
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes; communicate changes to the care team and families as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely, evidence-based care and smooth transitions.

Requirements
- Current California RN license or licensure eligible for travel.
- ER nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required by the employer.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical judgment, and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements for a travel assignment.
