Golang DeveloperLocation: RemoteInterview Mode: Hirevue coding test, then phone screen then, virtual technical interview with managerType: Long term contract6-month contract with a possibility of extensionThe team is looking to bring someone in that can assist with the tech debt using GO service.Main responsibilities: Slimming, optimizing, testing, core maintenanceRequired skills: Extensive experience with GO (This is a must-have!)Nice to have: Experience with Python/Fast APIPrescreening: 5 questions + game + coding **Note: Coding exercise MUST be completed in GO language!Interview process: 15-30 minute meeting with the HM, 1 hour technical screeningQualifications5+ years of professional experience in software development.Extensive GO experienceProficiency in Python.Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).Strong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work well within a team environmentKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang) and Python.Maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and other frameworks.Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions.Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
