Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description: Trauma/Surg exp required. Lvl 1 Trauma exp required. PA Lines exp required. ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required, TNCC preferred. Travel exp preferred: Trauma/Surg Unit, focuses on any type of traumatic injury including MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls, and many more; cancer surgery, liver transplants, etc. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility. Will be expected to work 3/5 Winter holidays.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC*, CCRN*

Skills: Arterial line management, Care of ventilated patient, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Surgical intensive care unit, Ventilator management

Patient Diagnoses: Any type of traumatic injury including MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls, and many more. Perforated bowels, nec fasc, cancer surgery, liver transplants

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Compliance requirements: BLS, ACLS, EKG Onboarding exam, NIHSS, Advanced Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU Competency exam, Trauma ICU Competency exam, General ICU skills, Trauma ICU skills, CORE exams
