Equity Research Analyst/Associate- Payments, Processors & IT Services

Job Description:The Payments, Processors & IT Services research team covers roughly 30 stocks including major companies in the Payments sector (including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Square) and in the IT Services sector (such as Accenture and Cognizant). We have also recent added coverage of multiple high-growth small/mid-cap names who have disruptive potential.ResponsibilitiesPerform complex financial modeling & valuation workWrite regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratchParticipate in IPO-related vettings and analyst daysDevelop databases integral to our research productDemonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgmentWork with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themesBuild relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companiesParticipate and contribute to client meetings and eventsAttend meetings and interact with key opinion leadersClosely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity, and relay to analyst when travelingSeek out new, unusual sources of informationLeverage our robust network of industry contactsInteract regularly with clientsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experienceA minimum of 1-2 years of experience – sell-side or buy-side (research, investment banking) experience preferred but not requiredCredit skills is a plusMust be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel/strong modeling skillsMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment.Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politicsMust have excellent communication skills, written and verbalMust have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-taskMust work well in a collaborative team environmentMust have strong intellectual curiosityShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)Pay and benefits informationPay range$110,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
