American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN requiring skilled home care experience with OASIS and prior travel assignment experience. Requirements BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of skilled home care experience required; private duty nursing experience alone not accepted OASIS training and experience required IV skills and wound care experience required Experience with general medical diagnoses and high-risk conditions (HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, stroke) required Post-op care experience required Active FL RN license or compact license required Must have completed more than one prior travel assignment Cerner charting experience preferred Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car for home visits Responsibilities Home Health setting providing skilled home care visits for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance patients Manages 6-8 skilled home visits per day Patient population includes cardiopulmonary, wound care, post-op, and high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, MI, pneumonia, and stroke Performs cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, ABI compression dressings, wound vac dressing changes, Pleurx/Aspeptdrain care, foley catheter changes, staple/suture removal, glucometer and pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, venipuncture, PICC/midline care, and SQ port access Day shift schedule with hours varying based on HomeCare office needs, including Mon-Fri 8a-5p or 9a-6p and alternating weekend shifts Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on office needs Uses laptop, MiFi, and portable printer for documentation Charts using BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation system Must be COVID vaccinated or have an exemption form on file Must have flu shot or declination on file; mandatory mask wearing required at all times while at work if declinedli> Scrub requirement: any solid color scrubs Smoke-free facility Local candidates accepted at the same rate Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel position Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning to any BayCare facility as a traveler Return travelers are currently only being accepted in ICU, MICU, CVICU, ED, PCU, and MS/Tele specialties No RTO (requested time off) is allowed within contracts Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-747334 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
