Role Description The Attorney will be a full-time, on-site team member based in Altamonte Springs, FL. This role involves managing a caseload in civil litigation, including case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. The Attorney will conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings and trials, and provide clear legal advice to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include negotiating settlements, collaborating with colleagues and support staff, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and ensuring compliance with court rules and professional standards. The position also includes participating in strategy meetings and contributing to the firm’s ongoing commitment to high-quality representation. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with experience in civil litigation and related practice areas. Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and its application in counseling and litigation matters. Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents. Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions, mediations, and dispute resolution. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar. Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting and courtroom presentation. Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff, and to build professional relationships with clients.
