Pipe & Mechanical Estimator

The Opportunity As the Piping and Mechanical Equipment Estimator, you will develop commercial estimates for Piping and Mechanical scopes across multiple industries, support proposal development, and provide cost insight to drive project success. Responsibilities Prepare and review piping and mechanical estimates for the following industries: Advanced Power Generation (APG)

LNG/FLNG

Oil and Gas Water/Wastewater Process Industries Analyze design scopes, perform quantity takeoffs, and assess construction productivity. Develop estimate components, including contingency, escalation, and cost reconciliation. Conduct cross‑project comparisons of scope, quantities, and costs. Prepare management presentations and maintain historical cost data. Review designs and specifications for cost efficiency; recommend improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives and related change management. Management Responsibilities Individual Contributor Preferred Qualifications 2‑10 years of relevant experience. Field and/or project experience. Strong piping and/or mechanical skillset. Ongoing project field experience. Good communication skills. Ability to manage workload across multiple projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Experience with estimating databases is a plus. Minimum Qualifications 2 to 5 years of relevant experience required. Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screening, motor‑vehicle records search as applicable). Work Environment / Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
