The Coordinator also helps identify opportunities to strengthen and expand programming based on community needs and participant feedback. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Planning and Coordination

Plan and coordinate educational programs from initial development through implementation, evaluation, and completion. Monitor program participation, attendance, progress, challenges, and outcomes, and recommend improvements when needed. Ensure instructors, tutors, interns, and volunteers have the information, materials, technology, and support necessary to perform their responsibilities effectively. Maintain regular communication with students, parents and guardians, instructors, tutors, volunteers, and community partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for questions concerning enrollment, schedules, program expectations, attendance, and educational services. Coordinate orientations, family meetings, recognition activities, field trips, special events, and other program-related gatherings. Ensure programs are delivered in a safe, inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive environment. Respond appropriately to participant concerns and elevate significant safety, personnel, or programmatic matters to the Executive Director.

Instructional and Participant Support

Support instructors and tutors in maintaining consistent, high-quality educational programming. Assist participants and families with enrollment, orientation, scheduling, and access to program resources. Monitor student attendance and follow up with participants or families when attendance or engagement concerns arise. Help connect students and families with additional LTCC services or community resources when needs are identified. Support the use of video conferencing platforms, presentations, educational software, computers, and other classroom technology. Coordinate assessments, participant surveys, instructor feedback, and other tools used to measure learning and program effectiveness. Communicate program procedures, schedules, participant needs, and performance expectations clearly. Monitor assigned work and provide timely feedback, coaching, and support. Promptly communicate staffing concerns, performance issues, or program needs to the Executive Director.

Program Development and Community Engagement

Identify community needs and recommend new or expanded educational and youth programs. Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, colleges, libraries, community organizations, service providers, and other program partners. Assist with outreach and marketing initiatives to increase program awareness, enrollment, and community participation. Represent LTCC at outreach activities, community events, meetings, presentations, and collaborative initiatives. Gather feedback from participants, families, instructors, and partners to improve program quality and accessibility. Ensure all programs support and advance LTCC’s mission, values, strategic priorities, and commitments to the community.

Records, Evaluation, and Reporting

Maintain accurate and confidential participant records, enrollment documents, attendance records, assessments, consent forms, and other required program documentation. Enter and maintain information in LTCC’s databases, spreadsheets, and other data-management systems. Track program outputs and outcomes, including enrollment, attendance, retention, participant progress, satisfaction, and completion. Compile program data and prepare narrative descriptions for monthly, quarterly, semiannual, annual, and grant-related reports. Assist with program evaluations and use findings to recommend operational or programmatic improvements. Ensure documentation and services comply with LTCC policies, funding requirements, and applicable confidentiality standards. Maintain organized electronic and physical program files.

Organizational Responsibilities

Welcome community members and provide responsive, professional, and culturally respectful customer service. Answer incoming telephone calls and inquiries and connect individuals with the appropriate staff member, department, or community resource. Assist community members in accessing LTCC services through the Resource Center. Help schedule appointments, consultations, and resource-navigation services as needed. Participate in required organizational, program-specific, funding-related, safety, and professional-development training. Participate in LTCC fundraising activities, community events, outreach efforts, and public-relations activities. Work collaboratively with LTCC staff to support organization-wide initiatives and maintain effective internal communication. Follow all LTCC policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and standards of professional conduct. Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the position’s purpose and responsibilities.
