The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is an upscale Marriott property located in Bloomington, Minnesota, conveniently situated near the Mall of America, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and major Twin Cities attractions. The hotel features 253 guest rooms, on-site dining at LARS Restaurant & Bar, an indoor Junior Olympic-sized pool, a fitness center, and more than 4,300 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. The hotel's design and atmosphere reflect a distinctly Minnesota aesthetic, incorporating warm, modern décor and local-inspired elements that create a welcoming sense of place. Food Servers are essential to the restaurant team's success and provide outstanding guest service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile. Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Enthusiastically take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders. Regularly revisit the table to ensure beverages are refilled and guest satisfaction is maintained.
• Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily restaurant organization, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.

Physical Demands :

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50 - 75 lbs.
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in restaurants and the kitchen.

Qualifications :

Education :

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience :

• Minimum of 1 year of Server experience in a similar role; size of operation preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage server certification is preferred.
• Food handler certification is preferred.
