Therapist - Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with physical and psychosocial disabilities, aiming to enhance mobility, restore function, and promote overall health. Develops personalized treatment plans and educates patients and their families to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine rehabilitation needs.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
  
  
• 
  Perform a variety of treatment techniques confidently and competently.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health management, treatment protocols, and preventive care.
  
  
• 
  Participate actively in discharge planning to ensure seamless patient transitions.
  
  
• 
  Support department operations through documentation, billing, and administrative tasks.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Required).
  
  
• 
  Possess evaluation and treatment skills appropriate for patients of all ages (Required proficiency).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong professional initiative, objectivity, and excellent time management.
  
  
• 
  Physically, cognitively, and perceptually capable of delivering patient treatment and assisting with physical mobility.
  
  
• 
  Hold valid Ohio and/or Multi State Compact license as a Licensed Physical Therapist.
  
  
• 
  Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
