Press Brake Operator

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established manufacturing company in the Raleigh area with their search for Press Brake Operators. This is a contract-hire role working Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am.

Responsibilities:

• Operate press brake equipment to produce parts according to specifications and quality standards
• Review job instructions and coordinate with setup personnel to ensure proper machine operation
• Perform back gauge calibrations and reset machine counters as needed
• Run and inspect first-piece parts for approval prior to production
• Make machine adjustments during production to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions
• Record measurements and quality data on SPC charts and production documentation

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 months press brake operating experience
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills with the ability to perform measurements and calculations accurately
• Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and protractors
• Working knowledge of quality inspection processes and documentation
