Diesel Technician – Bus & Motorcoach Fleet – $35–$45/hr – Mableton, GA

Star Coaches, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Mableton, GA . Pay

$35 – $45 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and motorcoach vehicles (oil changes, filters, tire rotations, fluid checks)
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel-powered buses and coaches
Inspect and service air brake systems, suspension systems, and hydraulic components
Conduct DOT safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
Collaborate with maintenance team members to complete repairs efficiently

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic
Experience working on diesel engines, buses, motorcoaches, or heavy-duty vehicles
Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ASE certification is a plus
