Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Days Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist certified occupational therapists in the development and implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans for residents

• Conduct individualized assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify needs and goals

• Design and implement therapeutic activities and programs to improve residents' functional abilities and independence

• Provide education and instruction to residents, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of treatment plans, progress notes, and resident interactions

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility and other physical needs

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
