Senior Tax Associate

Job Description

A well-regarded small/mid-size CPA firm is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to prepare and review returns, mentor staff, and support active client relationships.

Highlights

Prepare and review individual, S-corp, C-corp, and partnership returns
Perform tax research, draft planning memos, and manage workflow for assigned clients
Mentor Tax Associates and coordinate with managers on deadlines and deliverables
2-5 years public accounting tax experience; CPA preferred or actively pursuing
Hybrid flexibility with respectful busy-season expectations and strong work-life culture
Interviewing now - hire ASAP for current and upcoming tax season needs

Compensation & benefits

Base salary: $75,000-$95,000 DOE
Performance bonus / year-end bonus potential

CPE / CPA exam support and professional development
Hybrid schedule; busy-season intensity with protected recovery time and flexible off-season hours
Advancement to Tax Manager supported by CPE, client exposure, and a collaborative partnership culture
