This role requires critical thinking, fast learning, and direct ownership of process performance in a high-paced production environment.This is a floor-facing, high-impact role. You will work closely with Quality, Equipment, and Operations teams to ensure processes are capable, repeatable, and continuously improving.ResponsibilitiesSupport production operations across shifts, including remote or onsite escalation response as needed to minimize process-related downtime and yield lossDevelop, implement, and optimize production processes to ensure safety while maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and achieving world-class quality levelsDiagnose process failures and defects, drive corrective actions to root cause, and implement sustainable countermeasures to prevent recurrenceMonitor and reduce process variation using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA); audit manufacturing processes to ensure product specifications and standards are consistently achievedDevelop data collection, visualization, and analysis tools to enable data-driven decision making and predictive insight into process performanceChampion continuous improvement projects to improve yield, capacity, and process capability, including cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and labor efficiency gainsDevelop and maintain FMEAs and Control Plans; analyze, develop, and implement Engineering Change OrdersCreate and maintain Manufacturing Instructions, process routings, and related documentation, including rework proceduresOwn process-level metrics, present performance data to engineering and operations stakeholders, and drive structured improvement initiativesMaintain comprehensive process documentation and participate in Engineering Change ManagementQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment developing and improving processesProven experience driving process and OEE improvements through structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodsProficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, 8D, or IshikawaKnowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing environmentsExperience with data collection and analysis for process performance and developmentAbility to lead cross-functional projects and support 24/7 operations during escalationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBonus QualificationsExperience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, JMP, Minitab, Tableau, or similarFamiliarity with Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and gauge R&R studiesExperience developing or improving HMIs or factory data systems such as Ignition, SCADA, or MES platformsKnowledge of GD&T and its impact on process capability and manufacturabilityExperience with power electronics or electromechanical assembly processes in energy, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics manufacturingExperience with MES or factory data platforms for process monitoring, alarming, and analysisCreative problem-solving mindset with a focus on faster, better, and more cost-effective solutionsPlease note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week.
