Preferred Industry Background:
Candidates with experience in pallet manufacturing, lumber, packaging, building materials, or industrial distribution would be ideal. We strongly prefer candidates with manufacturing and shipping coordination experience rather than dispatch-only backgrounds.

• • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing customer service, order management, and/or logistics dispatch.
  • Fluent bilingual English/Spanish required, as the position involves extensive daily communication in Spanish.
  • Experience coordinating local truck drivers, scheduling deliveries, and communicating with customers.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production schedules, inventory availability, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience managing purchase orders, order entry, delivery changes, and customer expectations.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, email communication, and order management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation:

• Starting pay: $24.00/hour
• Potential increase to $25.00/hour after 90 days, based on performance.
• Full-time position; Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm with occasional overtime.

Schedule will vary based on business needs, including required weekend and extended hours. Load and unload furniture from trucks with care to prevent damage and ensure proper placement. Warehouse Associates will spend approximately 80% of their time in the warehouse and up to 20% traveling to event sites, as needed. Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer. Clean, repair, wrap, and assemble furniture to ensure it is event-ready or properly stored. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Tag, store, and relocate inventory accurately. Perform cycle counts to support inventory accuracy. Follow all safety guidelines, participate in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups. Additional Job Requirements & Details This CORT Events location supports operations across 12 states. Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. You’ll likely be transported from the warehouse to the event center on a Cort truck and will return to the warehouse at the end of your shift. Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. All workers must adhere to the designated rest period (6 hours) before returning to work if you book a shift without this rest period you are subject to be removed from the shift without compensation.
