Pay Rate: $ 2,300 To $ 2,616 per week

Schedule: Monday Thursday | Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) Scrub/Circulator for a 13-week contract position in Calais, Maine. This role provides safe, effective, patient- and family-centered nursing care throughout the perioperative period.

The OR RN must be able to scrub, circulate, and provide recovery room/PACU support as needed while collaborating effectively with the perioperative care team.

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative period.

• Perform both Operating Room circulating and scrub responsibilities during surgical procedures.

• Provide recovery room/PACU nursing support as needed.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other perioperative team members.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient confidentiality, and compliance with established surgical care standards.

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required.

• Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) License Required.

• Minimum 1 Year of Medical/Surgical or Perioperative Experience Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS and PALS Certifications Required; ACLS Required for PACU Responsibilities and May Be Obtained Within 6 Months as Specified by the Facility.

• Basic Computer Skills Required; CNOR Certification Preferred.

The Operating Room RN will support high-quality perioperative care through skilled scrub, circulating, and recovery room nursing services.
