Immediate job opening for a Manufacturing Engineer for an established precision machining company producing high tolerance components for the aerospace, defense, and power generation markets. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3-5 years of experience who wants to own process development in a technically advanced shop and grow into a recognized subject matter expert.

What You Will Do

• Develop and improve machining processes for complex, tight tolerance parts in exotic alloys
• Build machining approaches including fixturing, tooling, cutting parameters, and programming strategy
• Bring new parts into production and bring inactive parts back into production, owning schedules and qualification
• Work directly with customers on technical questions and engineering changes
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce scrap and cycle time
• Partner with Quality, Production, and Tooling, and train machine operators on new processes
• Support first article inspections and customer quality audits

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, defense, energy, medical, automotive, or another regulated environment
• Hands-on programming or process experience in at least one of: CNC milling, precision grinding, or EDM
• BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred; strong hands-on experience may substitute for a degree
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Ability to read complex drawings and apply GD&T
