As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in West Valley City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions, de-escalation support, and other security-related duties appropriate to an unarmed patrol post.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, and by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
