Job Description
- Support trade processing, settlements, and reconciliations to ensure seamless middle office operations.
- Collaborate with front office, back office, and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and manage operational risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Analyze and improve current workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with the implementation of new systems, tools, or processes to improve middle office functions.
- Provide support for regulatory and audit inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Middle Office Consultant should have:
- A strong understanding of financial services and middle office operations, particularly within banking and financial services.
- Proficiency in trade processing, reconciliations, and risk management practices.
- Experience/Knowledge with Fixed Income Products a MUST
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant financial systems and tools, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
