Overview Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment. Local and non‑local positions available. Competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax‑free stipend (if applicable). Choose assignments at partner facilities from various health systems across the country. Responsibilities Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. Provide direct care and delegate and supervise all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate clinical competence; manage patient care; improve quality of care; establish professional relationships and utilize professional skills; fulfill responsibilities of the hospital role; develop clinical expertise per specialty. Position Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs. Qualifications Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. Current BLS certification from an approved vendor. Current, valid, and active driver’s license. Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation. Additional Qualifications/Skills 1 year acute‑care experience is strongly preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. Current BLS certification from an approved vendor. Current, valid, and active driver’s license. Additional certifications may be required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP).
