The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Food Runner to join the Food and Beverage Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Picture yourself brightening someone's day. When you join our Hotels team, that's exactly what you'll do every time you come to work! As a Runner , you're not just maintaining supplies for food and beverage service you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Keep the buffet looking and tasting great: Stock and replenish food and beverage items for hot and cold buffets, monitor food quality to ensure it stays fresh and appealing, and transport items to and from the kitchen with efficiency
• Ensure a clean and inviting space: Keep the buffet area tidy and organized throughout service and break down the buffet after service to clean and reset
• Organize stock: Store food and dry goods according to food safety and storage standards
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
