Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Fort Myers, Florida. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a PT with a minimum of 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Tasks Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following guidelines for facility Understand the PT board's rules and regulations, and comply with state requirements Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged) BLS certification and state‑specific licensing Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax‑free stipend determined.
