About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Richland Nursing and Rehab, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed physical therapists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

• Providing direct patient care, including exercises, stretches, and modalities as prescribed by the treatment plan

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatments

• Participating in patient assessments, progress reports, and discharge planning

• Interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field

• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Pennsylvania

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
