About the Position

• Maintain efficient clinic flow while supporting providers and delivering exceptional patient care.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care within the clinic setting.
• Triage patient phone calls, provide patient education, and coordinate care as directed by the provider.
• Perform nursing assessments, document patient information, and maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality, patient-centered care.
• Promote patient safety, satisfaction, and continuity of care in an ambulatory clinic environment.
• Prioritize daily tasks while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Provide compassionate, professional, and customer-focused care to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN)? LPN license in the State of Iowa.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Current AHA BLS (Heart Code) certification required (or obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Strong nursing assessment, patient education, and communication skills.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
