Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Orthopedic Surgery

Responsibilities Perform orthopedic surgeries and procedures with precision and care Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress post-surgery Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions and treatments Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in ongoing professional development and training Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active medical license to practice in the state of New York Completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery Experience in orthopedic surgical procedures (Associate level) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred Level II Trauma Schedule: 24‑hour beeper call, 3‑5 or 5‑10 consecutive shifts Annual Volume: 500 cases No pelvic cases Support Staff: APPs EMR: Epic Must be board‑certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
