Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Room RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring 2+ years of ED experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

Emergency Department setting within a teaching hospital
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
36 hours guaranteed per week
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required if needed
No on-call requirements
Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration (compact license not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience required
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
Current certifications required in hand: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
Must have own vehicle for this assignment
Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room experience required, current within 1 year
Supervisory reference required, current within 1 year

Additional Information

Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
All scheduling and time-off requests must be finalized prior to submission; requests made after offer or interview will not be approved
Personal scrubs of any color permitted
Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
