Position Overview

An established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee customer projects from order acceptance through final delivery. This individual will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, communicate with customers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through completion.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, operations, production, purchasing, quality, and logistics teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to maintain schedules.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure project information remains current.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and support successful product shipments.
• Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure project success.
• Drive accountability while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Support efforts to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or Production leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems, scheduling software, or project management tools is preferred.
• PMP certification or formal Project Management training is a plus.

Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing environment and includes regular interaction with production operations. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required when entering production areas.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• Additional hours may occasionally be required to support customer needs and project deadlines.
