Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 shifts. The primary shift available is a night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing nursing interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding health care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing role.
• Current Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License in hand.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification prior to start.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.

Orientation and Assessments

• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required.
• Experience with Qualivis - Lotus for submitting hours worked is preferred.

The position is based in the 4 East/West unit, providing specialized nursing care in a supportive environment.
