Job Title

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 6 Days On / 8 Days Off | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Emergency Room operating at a Level IV Trauma designation
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other regional facilities within approximately a 40-mile radius as needed, which may be prescheduled
• Adhere to all unit protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Comfort with floating to multiple facilities within a regional area
