Job Description
Title
Emergency Room RN - Emergency Department

Schedule
- Weekend requirement: 8 shifts in a 6-week schedule (combination of Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements
- License: Missouri or Compact required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required
- Preferred: CPI and MAB
- Core clinical skills: cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management, triage and emergency response, central line care and IV therapy (including vasopressors), continuous IV sedation management, respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on clinical urgency.
- Monitor patient conditions, including cardiac monitoring and respiratory support.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per facility protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Orientation: EPIC and device trainings required prior to start.
- Documentation due: 2 Fridays before start date
- Pre-start modules: Must be completed by the Monday prior to start.
- Additional compliance modules to be completed during orientation.
