Industrial Hygienist - Personal Exposure Monitoring Iselin, NJ

Job Summary Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a full‑time Industrial Hygienist to deliver personnel and area exposure assessment services for local, regional, and national clients. The role requires self‑performance or management of projects ranging from small to large, including researching standards, developing cost estimates, preparing proposals, mentoring junior staff, and managing client relationships. Responsibilities Conduct qualitative exposure assessments and develop sampling plans. Plan and conduct industrial hygiene sampling surveys for chemical, physical and biological hazards. Interpret exposure monitoring results and develop recommendations to control exposures. Author detailed technical reports supported by sampling, analysis and evaluation data, citing applicable references. Investigate potential health effects associated with chemical agents lacking authoritative limits. Apply statistical techniques to analyze exposure trends and design ongoing monitoring strategies. Assess compliance with state and federal health‑based standards. Develop and deliver industrial hygiene training programs at client sites. Support indoor environmental quality investigations. Mentor and train staff. Qualifications B.S. in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. CIH preferred; certification or eligibility to earn CIH from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. 6+ years of industrial hygiene consulting or program management experience. Client‑facing skills and ability to grow opportunities. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Strong safety awareness and demonstrated record of safe work practices. OSHA and prior consulting experience required. Benefits Company‑subsidized medical and dental coverage.
