Position Summary: This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to start a career in the insurance industry. The Certificate Specialist supports our commercial lines team by assisting with Certificates of Insurance (COIs), policy updates, and day-to-day client service tasks. No prior insurance experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Assist with issuing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) accurately and in a timely manner Review basic certificate requests and ensure information is entered correctly Support account managers with policy updates and endorsements Maintain organized records and assist with tracking certificate requests Communicate with clients via phone and email to gather necessary information Provide general administrative support to the commercial lines team Learn insurance coverages and agency systems through on-the-job training Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized Good communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Positive attitude and strong work ethic Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Prior office or customer service experience preferred, but not required Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health insurance benefits Training and growth opportunities within the agency Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM(preferred hours but can be negotiable) Why Join Us?
