Stonewood Structural Engineers is seeking a motivated Intern to join our growing team in Portland, OR. Work on diverse projects across the continental US that include affordable housing, innovative timber structures, and complex concrete structures and foundations. Learn through mentorship and professional growth opportunities with our experienced team of engineers. Responsibilities Design gravity elements like beams, columns, and joists (wood, steel, and concrete) Utilize design software such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA 3D, Enercalc, Perform lateral analysis of plywood and concrete shear walls and diaphragms Review submittals for projects in construction Assist with construction administration Detail structural connections under the guidance of a senior engineer Ideal qualifications for Intern Position: Basic academic exposure to ACI, AISC, ASCE, NDS, or SDPWS design manuals Junior- or Senior- level standing in an ABET accredited civil engineering program #J-18808-Ljbffr Stonewood Structural Engineers
