Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionAt least 4 years of experience with back end RDBMS and data modeling / databaseAt least 4 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in IBMAt least 3 years of experience in software development life cycleAt least 3 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools – MUSTAt least 3 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development andmaintenance projectsAt least 2 years of experience in Design and Architecture reviewKnowledge of IBM Datastage Architecture, Stages/Transformations, Design, ETL flow,advanced SQLsKnowledge of data loading techniques using DatastageDevelop Datastage Parallel Extender jobs using different stages like Aggregator, Join,Merge, Lookup, Source dataset, External Filter, Row generator, Column Generator, ChangeCapture, Copy, Funnel, Short, Peek stages etcUsing Datastage Director for running and monitoring the jobs.Created Datastage sequences to run the batch jobs.Knowledge Best Practices in Datastage, Performance improvements, implementing CDC,UDFsUnderstanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scriptingStrong understanding of scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control- M, Tivoli etc.Good knowledge on MF file structures along with RDBMS.Provides expertise in determining the strategic technical direction and system architecturefor initiatives.Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complexproblemsStrong analytical skillsExtensive Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
