Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.Position SummaryThe Scrum Master will be responsible for operating an agile based SDLC for a project or application/domain team consisting of development and business resources in an implementation of large, complex technology and business-oriented projects. They will also be responsible for the coaching/mentoring of existing development & business managers/leads on this methodology as it is implemented and used during the project development life cycle.What You Will DoMaintain process documentationEnsure the development and business teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibilityUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint BacklogsRecommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice. Support the development managers and project leads as necessaryAssist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating informationAssist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition, identifying and removing impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal, facilitate discussion and conflict resolutionEmpower the teams to self-organize and improve the productivity of the teams in any way possibleEnsure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially shippableParticipate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with an identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parametersAdapting project plans, schedules, and resource forecasting as required throughout the project to respond to emerging requirements, outside dependencies and risksRequired Qualifications6-10+ years' work experience2-5 years' experience as RTE, Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Project/Program ManagerAdept at problem solving and decision making skillsAdept at collaboration, communication and teamworkAdept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsAdept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skillsPreferred QualificationsScrum Master CertificationProject Management Certification - preferredUnderstanding of software developmentScrum Master experience with teams working on complex large-scale applicationsExperience with Agile collaboration tools such as CA Rally, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.Understanding of resource allocations, forecasting, and budgetingEducationBachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualificationAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
