Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in a community hospital located in Rockport, Maine. This role involves providing circulating nursing care in the surgical suite, supporting multiple service lines, and working closely with a team of skilled surgeons and anesthesia providers. The assignment is a contract replacement, with a start date of 08/09/2026, covering a 36-hour weekly schedule with 49-hour shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts, rotating day off, with one weeknight call from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM and one weekend call approximately every 6 weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years OR circulating experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, experience in a smaller facility OR, and proficiency in multiple service lines including Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, General, and ENT.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in additional surgical specialties, team-oriented personality, flexible and supportive attitude.
• Float: Float rotation may be required for team support during low census periods.
• Additional Information: The unit emphasizes teamwork and shared responsibilities, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a small community setting. The position requires being adaptable to different roles in the operating room environment and supporting room turnovers with a team-centric approach.
