Warehouser (Day Shift)

Job Description PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct cycle count as required.
- Stock items on the shelf ensuring they are properly marked with correct part number and rotate as necessary.
- Notify appropriate departments of any discrepancies and/or problems with material.
- Operate warehouse machinery in a safe manner and report any equipment maintenance or problems to immediate supervisor
- Expedite overdue and missing parts with appropriate department.
- Prepare shipments including boxing, weighing, labeling, and consolidating orders.
- Submit prepared material and proper paperwork to the shipper for actual dispatch to the customer.
- Pull parts for transfers/manufacturing/sales and document all material transactions.
- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous work experience in warehouse environment and/or inventory control preferred.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, audiogram, vision test, and background check.
- Must be willing and able to work extra hours, overtime and/or weekends.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and be self-directed when working independently.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
