Moving Mountains Therapy Center
Pediatric Occupational Therapist Make a Difference in the Lives of Children and Families at Moving Mountains Therapy Center, Missoula, MT Are you passionate about supporting children and families in our community? Do you thrive in an environment where you can use your skills to help kids grow, play, and develop? Moving Mountains Therapy Center is looking for a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team and make a lasting impact in the Missoula area! At Moving Mountains Therapy Center, our mission is to provide high-quality, family-centered pediatric therapy that helps children reach their fullest potential, both in our clinic and within the community. We work with families of infants, children, and adolescents, supporting them as they navigate developmental milestones and challenges. Our goal is to build strong relationships with our clients and their families, empowering them to thrive at home, school, and in the community. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art pediatric clinic, where we treat children of all ages (from birth through adolescence). We also provide therapy in schools, daycares, and homes, giving you the chance to make a difference in real-world environments. While we specialize in pediatric care, there may also be opportunities to work with older adolescents and adults. If you’re a therapist who is passionate about play-based therapy, believes in the importance of family-centered care, and is excited to be part of a team that advocates for children's needs in the community, we’d love to hear from you! What We Offer: No weekends or holidays, so you can maintain a healthy work-life balance and enjoy everything that beautiful Missoula has to offer. Bonus structure with low productivity standards, giving you time to focus on what truly matters: the families you serve. Collaborative, interdisciplinary team where you’ll work alongside Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Mental Health providers to deliver holistic care. Weekly team meetings to foster support, growth, and a well-rounded approach to education. Environmental diversity throughout your day, with mileage and time reimbursed for travel to homes, schools, and other community settings. Real OT community advocacy—actively participate in local initiatives and passion projects that improve access to therapy services for underserved populations. Family-centered therapy, using the best practices to ensure that the work we do is meaningful and impactful in the everyday lives of the families we serve. Flexible work schedule that allows you to engage in activities outside of work, including IADLs (instrumental activities of daily living), family time, and leisure activities. Support for continuing education, so you can expand your knowledge and grow in your career. Direct patient care with streamlined, electronic paperwork to save you time and improve efficiency. Competitive income and benefits, including PTO, QSEHRA, IRA match, Aflac supplemental plans, and more. Job Responsibilities: Family-Centered Care: Uphold our mission to provide therapy that empowers families and supports the child’s development in all areas of life. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with our team of Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Mental Health providers to provide comprehensive care to children and families. Assess and Treat: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address motor skills, sensory processing, daily living skills, and other developmental needs. Community-Based Therapy: Deliver therapy services in a variety of settings, including homes, daycares, schools, and other community environments. Ongoing Support and Education: Educate families on effective strategies and techniques for supporting their child’s development, and create home programs that reinforce therapy goals. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain timely, accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in line with payer guidelines and state regulations. Advocate for Clients: Participate in projects and initiatives that support community education and advocacy for children’s therapy services. What We’re Looking For: Current Montana Occupational Therapy License (or ability to obtain prior to hire) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire) Experience working with children, especially in play-based therapy, is preferred—but we welcome new graduates who are passionate about pediatrics! A commitment to collaboration and a desire to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliability and a positive attitude toward work and community involvement. Driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle for travel to various client locations. Why Choose Moving Mountains Therapy Center? At Moving Mountains, we are deeply invested in the families and communities we serve. Our commitment to community advocacy and family-centered care means that we go beyond just providing therapy—we work to improve access to services, educate families, and make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. By joining our team, you’ll not only have the opportunity to provide exceptional therapy in a supportive, fun, and collaborative environment, but you’ll also become part of a mission-driven organization that believes in growing together as a team while making a lasting impact in the lives of children and families.
