Radiology - CT Tech

CT Scan Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. On-call rotation may be required.

The CT Scan Technician will perform a variety of imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patients. The tech will work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and utilize Siemens imaging equipment. Responsibilities include the preparation and administration of contrast media and ensuring the safety of patients during procedures.

Conducting CT scans of various body parts including abdomen, chest, and head.

Preparing patients and ensuring comfort during the imaging process.

Administering contrast media as per protocol.

Maintaining patient safety and radiation safety protocols.

Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Minimum of 6 months experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.

ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Radiation badge is required, to be supplied by the agency.

Siemens equipment experience is preferred.
